CHANNELS TYPE “U”

The precast reinforced concrete channels type “U” are used in the realization of conduction water channels in open sky, usually for higher flow rates, presenting substantial advantages comparing with traditional solutions, of which the following are worth mentioning for its speed of execution and entry in service, higher durability, higher cost savings, etc.

Sections of channels type “U” which FARCIMAR manufactures and sells are so variable and go from the minimum section of 0,5x0,5 m2 up to the maximum of 5,00x2,50 m2, However, other sections can be studied under consultation.  e productive capacity of FARCIMAR in such product allows studying and ofering an infinite variety of geometries where the thickness of walls can also vary, besides its asymmetry in heights, since parts can be produced, whose heights of walls are diferent in both sides of the channel.
